Extrait de Parfum and Eau de Parfum: what to compare

  4. Kvapų Gama information

Extrait de Parfum and Eau de Parfum are terms used to distinguish perfume interpretations. Compare the individual fragrance rather than only its abbreviation.

Concentration and formula

General guides commonly associate Extrait with a more concentrated direction than EDP. Manufacturers’ ranges and formulas vary, so neither a percentage nor exact wear time can be established from the name alone. Two versions may also differ in their scent accords.

Intensity and use

A higher concentration does not always mean wider projection or a more enjoyable scent. Consider how the individual product feels to you and in your surroundings. Follow its directions and start with restrained application.

Price and occasion

EDP is not restricted to everyday wear, nor Extrait to special occasions. Compare size, format and actual price rather than assuming one category is always better or more expensive.

Kvapų Gama information

The 30–40% fragrance-concentrate range applies to Premium sprays, not all oils or other formats. Check the individual fragrance page for current variants and, if you want to try a smaller quantity, whether a suitable sample is offered.
